It also aims to ensure that key stakeholders are aware of the importance of turtle and ecosystem conservation and to raise awareness among local communities of the importance of sea turtle and ecosystem conservation. Strengthening the legal and policy framework will ensure that national laws and regulations and regional agreements are conducive to the protection of turtles and important turtle sites.
